What’s love got to do with it?
Everything.
Rescued from a neglected life in Louisiana, my dog Moe was nurtured, listened to, and showered with unconditional love from the moment I held him allowing him to thrive and blossom into his best self which was all I could have hoped for.
He was given the health care that is his birthright that I promised to provide.
Admittedly there must have been a Cajun curse on Moe as the photos of him before we met were less than flattering to this handsome boy, but being in a home of 24/7 attentiveness was what this wonderful, tail-wagging, joyful dog needed and deserved.
We all need that kind of love. We all need someone looking out for our needs. It is the only way we truly flourish.
Maybe Moe is a metaphor for our country.
